Runaway June Releases ‘Real Good Night,’ a Party-Starter Teaser Track From the Hit-Making Trio’s Forthcoming Sophomore Album
September 5, 2025

NASHVILLE, TN (Sept. 5, 2025) – QHMG / Quartz Hill Records’ Runaway June today released “Real Good Night,” a teaser track from the Gold-selling trio’s forthcoming sophomore album.

Produced by two-time GRAMMY winner Kristian Bush (Sugarland, Megan Moroney), track release “Real Good Night” is a country girls-night-out anthem in the tradition of Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” Barn burnin’ fiddle and electric guitar set the pace for a flirty, freeing and karaoke-destined slice of fun that’s guaranteed to get any party started.

Peppering infectious melodies with playful spoken banter, it’s clear that Runaway June bandmembers Jennifer Wayne, Natalie Stovall and Stevie Woodward were determined to bring the party to the studio for “Real Good Night.” Natalie penned the positive-vibes-only song alongside co-writers Emma-Lee, Jessica Cayne and Eric Arjes, and featuring a real good, real good singalong chorus:

I’m ready for a real good real good night

Ready for a get down turn up time

Ready for a wild party

I wanna dance with somebody

I’m ready for a real good real good real good night

Real good real good night

“I went into that write wanting to write a strong show opener for Runaway June because we’ve talked about that a few times,” says Natalie. “When we were writing that song, it just made me think about how much fun it is to get ready for a show, or when you think about getting ready with your girlfriends for a night out.”

Runaway June founding member Jennifer says “Real Good Night” is a good representation of the celebratory tone of the trio’s forthcoming album, where “even the sad songs are fun.” Lead singer Stevie adds that another key theme of the album, and its “Real Good Night” teaser track, is friendship.

“We’re friends, and we want the listeners to also feel that girlhood, that sisterhood, and for our male listeners too,” says Stevie. “We want people to know that they’re not alone in whatever phase they’re going through.”
